QUALITY
CARE

Our care is extended to…

Nursing Care
We provide general nursing care along with the accommodation, meals, social and personal care. We have professional registered nurses and experienced care assistants in constant attendance day and night.

Personal Care
We provide accommodation, meals, social and personal care, including help with bathing, dressing and medication administration. Our residents often chose to live in our home as they are finding it difficult to cope at home, or they need more help than their carers are able to provide.

Physical disability
We empower people with a physical disability to take control of their lives in a supportive and stimulating care environment. Therapy teams work alongside trained nurses and carers to improve or maintain independent living skills and mobility wherever possible.

Palliative Care
We provide compassionate care for those with a chronic or and terminal illness which is no longer responding to treatment. Our specially trained nursing and care staff use active care methods to improve pain control and quality of life.

We work closely with family, friends and carers to give them personal support throughout the resident's illness and into bereavement.

We often form part of the local community palliative care service, working alongside local GP practices, community nurses and other support groups.

Respite Care

Everyone deserves time out. Whether you care for a relative, are a professional carer, or are in need of permanent care yourself, taking a break from your usual routine can do wonders for you.

As a carer you can relax, knowing that your relative, friend or patient is in a safe, welcoming environment with first class care tailored to their needs. A respite stay at our Home gives many people the opportunity to experience first rate service amongst friendly and welcoming staff and residents.

Respite stays are always short term. Having said that, the relationships they build between the Home and resident give great reassurance to all concerned, especially if a longer stay ever becomes necessary. Respite care is also ideal for those who are well enough to leave hospital but not yet well enough to return home.

Our care homes are set in beautiful countryside locations and are ideal destinations for respite breaks or a short stay whilst your permanent carer is on holiday. We have rooms set aside for respite stays, others can only offer it if there is a room vacant. Many of our residents also arrange a trial stay as a temporary resident to see if the home is the right choice for them as their new permanent home.

As no two people are the same, our home manager can advise you of the cost once the level of care and the length of stay you require has been established. In all circumstances, the fee will include 24 hour care, a comprehensive social activities programme, all meals and hotel and laundry services.

We understand….You is unique..!!

Our aim is to provide seamless continuity of care. Individual care plans are developed for every resident to ensure we can meet their needs. Each care plan is reviewed on a monthly basis, or more frequently if a resident's condition changes. A full care review is also undertaken every six months which involves all key staff, the resident, family and other parties such as a Social Worker as appropriate.
Our well-trained and qualified staff work hard to ensure that everyone's personal desires and preferences are respected.

We are professional…in Your care..!!
Each resident has a key named Nurse (if they require nursing care) and a Key Worker or Carer to ensure consistency of care. The Key Worker has time to really get to know their residents and liaises with family members to keep them up to date with their care.
Our dedicated teams of care staff within our care homes include: Registered Nurses, NVQ trained carers (Levels 2 & 3), Social Activity Organisers, Visiting GP, Dietician and Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, Chiropodist.
Our hospitality teams include: Catering, Housekeeping, Laundry, Gardening, Maintenance and Hairdressing.

We are specially trained…..for Your care…!!

Each member of the care team recognises, supports and celebrates each person's individuality. They receive training through our care programmes and have regular refresher courses thereafter.

Regular meetings and social gatherings are organised for families and friends and form an essential support network.
